Traps will grow larger with time, given good sunlight and adequate food. Older plants, those three years or older, also have larger traps, often over 1” in length. With near full sun conditions, we can grow traps about 1” in length from small plants in 3 months time. We keep them moist at all times, and fertilize them with a very dilute fertilizer once per month. By “dilute” we mean you should use regular plant food at 10% of the recommendation on the box. |
